Minimum Requirements:

1) PC with Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 2000 and 1Gbyte RAM

2) Color Digital RGB values of subject to search for; and digital image(s) of Field of Search.

The required Color Digital RGB values can be obtained by the User, by scanning existing photographs of the search subject; from existing digital photographs; or by estimating the RGB values by other means.

The Field of Search images should be fresh aerial still images or realtime video (such as a gimbaled aerial cam with an NTSC video stream) with user furnished frame acquisition hardware to create still images of the Field of Search.

Because RGB color values of one color differ depending on lighting conditions and on the camera used, the main program module is adjustable and accommodates searching for the exact RGB values or 'close/fuzzy' values to the desired RGB values.

Albedo Safety Software © can be used in realtime field mode or can be used in a ground or in an office environment. If the aircraft has an onboard GPS with a NMEA 0183 output, an included software module can automatically log the precise date, time, latitude and longitude in order to coordinate aerial images with the exact location when the image was obtained. The software can be modified for many types of automated operation.
