If time is of the essence, for rescue or capture: Using Overhead Imagery (Satellites or Aerial Photography) and Albedo Safety Software. Locate & Rescue lost children, skiers, boaters, hikers, vehicles, downed aircraft, absconders & victims. May be useful for: surveillance, Homeland Security, Civil Air Patrol, Search & Rescue (SAR), Scouting, Transportation Security (TSA), Coast Guard, U.S. Military, State & Local Law Enforcement, DEA. Could be of interest to: gimbal equipped TV
news helicopters Locate the exact position (of the object searched for) in an image, in less than 10 seconds. Developed for use in the Field or Desktop or Aerial The absolutely unique Albedo Safety Software © is developed by a Professional Engineer (CA PE, electrical) for use by Public Safety & Security Organizations. Licensed use of Albedo Safety Software © is offered as a Service of Oak Tree Investigations. (The Software will normally be furnished to the user as a download). Please contact Oak Tree Investigations or email regarding special licensing requirements or arrangements for demonstration. There are more than
16 million (2^24) unique colors which can be found in a typical digital
photograph. A typical digital photo contains around 300,000 pixels
(low resolution) to 5 million or more (high resolution). Albedo
Safety Software can quickly find and locate as little as 1 pixel of the
color searched for, in a digital image. If the color exists in an
image, Albedo Safety Software can locate the exact color or can identify
colors which are close in color to the exact color sought. We
believe the software can find a color in an image in those situations
where human observers are unable to do so. In some situations,
this might enable searchers to locate otherwise unseen subjects. The Main program
module scans, automatically, ALL Images (unlimited number) placed in
directory in STEP 1. Then the Program, automatically, informs the
operator of how many 'Hits' (if any) of the color searched for (for Each
Image). Each 'Hit' is clearly identified with Image x-y
coordinates as well as drawing a large Circle around each 'Hit'.
The Program can analyze 1 Image or thousands of Images (during one
Program 'run'). No time is wasted looking at Images with No
'Hits'. A rough estimate of the time for a single computer to process images is: for images where 1 pixel represents 1 inch², approximately 1 mile² per hour can be processed; for images where 1 pixel represents 1 foot², approximately 144 miles² per hour can be processed. This estimate is, of course, dependent on other factors, such as the CPU speed of the computer used. A massive search would necessarily require many computers operated by many personnel.
